We had a couple lapses in the 2nd and 3rd quarters that really cost us tonight. Midway through 2nd quarter Springport had a 2 minute run where they made 4 consecutive 3 point shots and got a break away lay in to go on 14-0 run. We got lost on a few defensive assignments and they knocked down some shots. In the 3rd quarter we able to battle back and cut it 8 points and missed a couple of easy looks. They were able to capitalize and hit 3 on the other end. I am proud of the way we battled tonight. We have to find a way to make our easy opportunities and limit other teams runs against us. Teegan McDonald had 15 points and 5 steals to lead the Lions. Connor Joseph tallied 11 points, Jakub McDonald tallied 8, Ayden Wilkes added 7, Callan Hoefler with 4 points.
